Rastafarian Torch Bearer

This is, what I like to think, an improved version (top) of a cartoon I did over a year ago (bottom, before the Olympic started). Note how the feet are in the correct way in the new version.

Apparently, Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars film has been told to go on a crash diet for his cameo role in the next new Star War film (which is to be directed by  JJ Abrams, unfortunately).

Since the last "serious doodle" has been very well received, I've decided to do another one involving a local landmark.

Wedding "Photos".

I did this for a client who's relations are having a Scottish wedding. What you can see are two versions, a digital one and a tradition hand drawn one (the latter was a devil to colour in, the tartar took me hours to do!).

Long Range Forecast.

Apparently the Met Office are suggesting that due to a warming up of the Atlantic Ocean thus forcing the jet stream to stay further south than usual, our weather could be "cloudy with showers" for the next ten years.

Again, there is no punchline attached to this one but more for illustration purposes (in this case, a facebook banner).

This one has appeared on the front page of a local newspaper. I don't normally do serious art, in fact I had poor marks in Art O Level back in my schooling days as I only wanted to do cartoon with a joke-type punchline attached to them, never had - and still don't have - the patience to do paintings and pencil drawings.

Although I actually did this cartoon last week, it's only today that it has got printed in the local papers. It's where footprints has been found on rocks at Folkestone beach (only around the corner from my house).

Air Show

Although the actual 365 type project is over, I did say that I'll still carry on doing the occasional doodle . . . and here it is. It's where the annual airshow - or what's left of it - takes place in a few days time.
