Sunbathing

Or lack of as this Summer is being a slow burner. While we have had worse summers in the past, I've not been able to sit in the garden for more than ten minutes without looking like a plucked chicken.
Hopefully we'll have better luck in July.

Knob Twiddler

I am a huge fan of 70's electronic music (Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, etc) and have always fancied myself as a bit of a knob twiddler . . .

 . . . that came out a bit wrong.

Gas

My sister is currently on a juice drink regime - and the side effect of having a lot of "good bacteria" in the guts is excessive wind.

Royal Visit

As the Queen will be visiting our district. I think I may have ruined what little chance of me getting an O.B.E.

Post Eclipse Comedown.

Cloudy Eclipse

As expected, the view of this morning's partial eclipse had been scuppered by cloud cover, so we had to make do with watching live feeds on TV and the internet.

Interesting fact.

Apparently a man's penis is three times the length of a thumb.

I wonder how many males reading this will stick their thumb up and see for themselves.

Charlie

In Paris, a group of Islamic fanatics stormed a satire newspaper office and killed 12 civilians, five of them cartoonist.
Speaking as a doodler myself, I had to do this. This event is shocking in many ways, the inability to express our thoughts and how this many people died needlessly over a bit of satire.
It is fair to say that certain aspect of the human race really do need help. Badly.
