Buzzing For Spring

As most of the UK has an early taste of Spring due to unusually warm, dry and bright weather for this time of the year.

Another New Year.

Here's hoping for 2019 to be an interesting/productive year in terms of doodling, photography and the weather (my three main interests).

The Little Lady In The Lift

A Folkestone icon, Jeanne, who used to operate the lifts at a local department store for decades has passed away today. This is my tribute to her.

Humble In Victory. Gracious In Defeat.

You can shoot me down for this if you want, indeed we might be seeing a bit of football history in the making - but for goodness sake, calm down whether England lose or wind! It's only a bloody football match, I'd be more jubilant if peace was declared on all of Earth or a cure has been found for cancer.

Peter Capaldi

As the (now former) Doctor Who. Did this for a friend who apparently has a crush on him. Personally I prefer Matt Smith (not as a crush, but as a Doctor Who as he was brilliant at it - and indeed I've already drawn him a few years ago).

Boy Racer

Did this for an old school mate who is a bit of a boy racer.

I did two versions just to see how things pan out, the top one was done in the traditional (and hard) way using coloured pencils while the colours in the bottom one were done in the modern (and easier) way.

Make Or Break

Did this for a photographer friend who has had a fall and broke his ankle.

S**t Happens.

The result of being 1/4th the amount of crap on the TV/1/4th being bored/1/4th wanting to scratch a doodle itch/1/4th did this for someone just for fun.

What If . . .

. . . the TARDIS has been a transformer all along? Telly was rubbish today, so decided to scratch this doodle itch.

Another addition to the "Hawkeye" project. I have to admit this as being like a "difficult second album" but am getting there.
