A homage.

It is on this month and year exactly 40 yeas ago Equinoxe was released by a certain French musician, so I did this artwork as a homage to my second favourite album (the second being Phaedra by Tangerine Dream).

Eeyore

Adapted an Eeyore picture for use as a tattoo (not for myself, for a friend, of course!).

Humble In Victory. Gracious In Defeat.

You can shoot me down for this if you want, indeed we might be seeing a bit of football history in the making - but for goodness sake, calm down whether England lose or wind! It's only a bloody football match, I'd be more jubilant if peace was declared on all of Earth or a cure has been found for cancer.

Peter Capaldi

As the (now former) Doctor Who. Did this for a friend who apparently has a crush on him. Personally I prefer Matt Smith (not as a crush, but as a Doctor Who as he was brilliant at it - and indeed I've already drawn him a few years ago).

Boy Racer

Did this for an old school mate who is a bit of a boy racer.

I did two versions just to see how things pan out, the top one was done in the traditional (and hard) way using coloured pencils while the colours in the bottom one were done in the modern (and easier) way.

Planning

Another addition to the "Hawkeye" project. I have to admit this as being like a "difficult second album" but am getting there.

WWII People

Did some more doodles for the "Hawkeye" Project (a website for a local WWII museum).

Test Pilot

As it says on the header title, it is a test drawing of a pilot for a local war time museum. It's working progress where I've given him the temporary title of "Hawkeye" (the museum is based at Hawkinge).

Keeping Fit In Style

Just a  quick doodle the moment the idea sprang to mind as well as keeping the ol' creative juices flowing.

Following on my recent DIY triumph where I fixed a leaking tap for the first time in 20 years.

When Bouncers Go To Heaven

The Crowd

Did this for a friend who owns a shop selling very low priced food items. I tried to make it as ethical as I could, which is quite a change in direction for me as I usually only draw the one type of people.

Uplifting

Did this for a friends whose motorbike mad husband has had a stairlift installed in their house.

It's A Ill Wind

As Hurricane Irma roared through the Caribbean and is now affecting Florida as I type this.

The Ride

A local Folkestone history landmark, called The Water Lift, is being threatened with closure.

My Cousin Andy

My cousin Andy is the one with the big broad smile and Stan Laurel chin, the other person is his lifelong friend, Paul. Did this for his 10th wedding anniversary.
